HOW TO BE A BETTER CLIENT SERVICING PERSON

FOLLOW THE FOLLOWING TRIED AND TESTED STEPS:

* WHEN YOU COME TO WORK LEAVE YOUR EGO BEHIND. YOU HAVE TO WEAR IT SOMETIMES, SO WEAR IT WITH YOUR SPOUSE, FRIENDS AND CHILDREN.

* POWER, POSITION, AUTHORITY, RESPECT FLOWS TO THE PERSON WITH INFORMATION. AIM TO BE THE MOST KNOWLEDGEABLE AND RESOURCEFUL PERSON IN YOUR AGENCY AND CONTRIBUTE TO CREATIVE, MEDIA OR PRODUCTION DISCUSSIONS AT THE TIME OF BRIEFING OR SUBSEQUENTLY.

* CLIENT SERVICE IS A 24-HOUR JOB, AIM TO DRIVE AS MUCH PLEASURE AND SATISFACTION FROM BEING ON JOB, ACCEPTING AND MEETING CHALLENGES AS FROM ANY OTHER NON-WORK RELATED ACTIVITY.

* REMEMBER NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE IN THIS WORLD, IN TERMS OF BOTH QUALITY AND DEADLINE. SET STANDARDS FOR YOURSELF WHICH ARE HIGHER THAN WHAT YOUR BOSS OR CLIENT WOULD EXPECT.

* BE FIRM IN YOUR STAND. BUT MAKE SURE THE GROUND YOU ARE STANDING ON IS FIRM.

* BE BRUTALLY HONEST WITH YOURSELF, YOUR COLLEAGUES AND YOUR CLIENT.
